If you’ve ever spent way too long clicking into every single fill and stroke to change colors in Adobe Illustrator, you’re not alone. But here’s the good news: you don’t have to do that anymore! You can recolor artwork easily in Illustrator with the built-in Recolor Artwork tool. It makes swapping colors across your design fast, consistent, and stress-free. And yes, it literally takes under 10 seconds.


Here’s how to do it:

  1. Select your artwork. Highlight the logo or illustration you want to change.

  2. Head to Quick Actions. On the right-hand panel, click Recolor.

  3. Use the Color Theme Picker. Quickly select a brand color, or pull a palette from existing artwork with the Eyedropper.
